The upcoming 13th National Parliament election and the referendum on the reform issue will be held on February 12. Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) spokesperson and chairman of the election management committee, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, has commented that the law enforcement agencies are not sufficiently active and proactive in this election.
He made the remarks while participating in a winter clothing distribution program at Mahuttuli Government Primary School area in Old Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan said that juvenile gangs and terrorists are still roaming openly. He demanded that those involved in the murder of Osman Hadi and attacks on political leaders, including those involved in the incident, be brought to justice quickly.
Later, Asif Mahmud and NCP-nominated parliamentary candidate for Dhaka-7 constituency Tarek A. Adel handed over winter clothes to the cold-stricken people as a humanitarian initiative for the winter.
