A fire broke out after a bus collided with a battery-powered auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle in Daudkandi, Comilla. Four people, including two children, died and at least 30 were injured in the incident. The incident took place at around 12:15 pm on Friday in the Baniapara area of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway.

Three of the deceased were bus passengers and another was a motorcycle driver. Daudkandi Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Iqbal Bahar Majumdar confirmed this information. However, he could not immediately reveal their names.

According to local sources, a CDM Paribahan passenger bus traveling from Dhaka to Chittagong lost control and overturned on the highway and caught fire. At that time, the bus collided with a battery-powered rickshaw and a motorcycle. Four people died from burns and at least 30 were injured.
