The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided not to send the national team to India for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, following a directors' meeting today.
The board has also asked the ICC to shift Bangladesh's matches from India to Sri Lanka, according to a BCB official who confirmed this to The Daily Star on the condition of anonymity.
The BCB is expected to provide official confirmation shortly.Earlier, the BCCI on Saturday instructed KKR to release Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman from their IPL 2026 squad after calls from India's ruling party BJP's politicians and religious leaders.
