The fire service received a report of a fire on a Mirpur-bound passenger bus of Ashim Paribahan at around 8:35 pm on Sunday (December 14).
Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Md. Shajahan confirmed the incident.
He said that upon receiving the information, two units of the fire service reached the spot and are working to control the fire. Badda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasirul Islam said it is not clear who set the bus on fire. Police are on their way to the scene.
