The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the 13th National Parliamentary Election, setting 12 February next year as the polling date.
Chief Election Commissioner A M M Nasir Uddin declared the election schedule on Thursday (11 December) at 6 PM, in an address broadcast simultaneously on BTV and BTV World.
Meanwhile, a national referendum will also be held on the same day alongside the parliamentary election.
