Begum Khaleda Zia's mortal remains arrived at her Gulshan residence from Evercare Hospital in Dhaka around 9:15 AM on December 31, 2025.The body left Evercare Hospital at 8:55 AM via ambulance and reached the residence shortly after, allowing family and relatives to pay final respects there.Her funeral prayer (janaza) is scheduled for 2:00 PM at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building, followed by burial at 3:30 PM beside her husband, Ziaur Rahman, at Zia Udyan.
