An upazila administration official has been ordered to vacate his government residence over allegations of involvement in the killing of eight puppies by drowning them in a pond in Ishwardi, Pabna. The directive was issued by the upazila administration this Tuesday morning. The accused official, Hasanul Rahman, works at the Upazila Farmers’ Development Foundation.
Earlier, on Monday morning, the bodies of eight puppies were recovered from a pond in the upazila parishad residential area, found stuffed inside a sack.
