Police have recovered the bodies of two children and his wife, who were found hanging from the house of an army officer who had returned home on leave, in Bogra's Shajahanpur upazila. The bodies were recovered from a bedroom in a house in Kholishakandi village of Khottapara union of the upazila at around 9 am on Tuesday.
The deceased woman has been identified as Sadia Mustarim (28). She is the daughter of Mofazzal Hossain of Bhandar Paikar village in Bogra Sadar upazila. Police said that her two children include daughter Saifa, aged three years, and son Saif, aged seven months.
