In light of the current political situation, AB Party Member Secretary Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad has sharply criticized the role of the country's civil society.
Addressing those who are currently expressing concern regarding the Dhanmondi 32 residence, Barrister Fuad questioned their past silence. He asked where these "virtuous" voices were when BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was evicted from her home with "only the clothes on her back."
Fuad remarked that the same intellectuals and civil society members who are vocal today failed to speak up even once back then to declare her eviction an injustice.
