A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Dhaka at 6:06 PM today, with the epicentre located just 6 km east of the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon.
The quake, classified as light, was felt across parts of the capital, especially the Badda region. No damages or casualties have been reported so far, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Residents are advised to stay alert as authorities continue to monitor aftershock risks.
