A crude bomb (cocktail) explosion occurred in the capital’s Hatirjheel area, igniting a motorcycle at the scene. The incident took place around 6:10 pm on Saturday (15 November) near the Madhubagh Bridge in Hatirjheel.
According to police sources, unidentified miscreants detonated the crude bomb around 6:10 pm and fled immediately. A motorcycle parked nearby caught fire following the explosion. No casualties were reported.
Confirming the incident, Hatirjheel Police Station Duty Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Fuad Ahmed said that a team was dispatched to the spot soon after the report came in. However, no arrests have been made so far.
