57-year-old Abdul Ghani has been searching relentlessly for his missing wife after devastating flash floods swept through Palembayan, Indonesia. For days, he has walked around holding her photo, hoping for any sign of her.
The recent flash floods and landslides across Indonesia have claimed more than 700 lives. After losing their only child seven years ago, Abdul Ghani’s wife was all he had left.
“I just want to find her and give her a proper burial,” he says.
