A grim discovery shocked residents of Dhaka’s Uttar Badda as police recovered the decomposed bodies of a man and a woman from a locked warehouse on the ground floor of a house after locals reported a strong foul odor.
The deceased are believed to be Saiful Islam (28), a security guard, and Shakila (28), a house help — both reported missing days earlier. Authorities have sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy, while DNA tests will confirm their identities.
Police are investigating the cause of death and how the bodies ended up locked inside the warehouse.
