Dhaka has inaugurated its first-ever six-lane railway underpass in TT Para, near Kamalapur Railway Station—built under the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project. Opened by Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Abdul Hafiz, the 338-metre structure features dedicated lanes for motor vehicles, non-motorized transport, and pedestrians.
Officials say the project will help ease chronic congestion between Motijheel and nearby areas, marking a new milestone in the city’s transport modernization.
