The 5th 3Zero Leadership Challenge Program (3ZLC) was held at Hiroshima University, Japan, from October 2 to 4, featuring outstanding participation by young students from across Asia. The online segment saw 466 students from 21 countries, with a rigorous selection process narrowing the field to just 15 finalists invited to Japan for the on-site competition.
Among the distinguished finalists were four students from Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College (BNMPC), Bangladesh: Mahtab Islam and Siyam Ahmed from Grade 9, K.M. Faisal Shahriar from Grade 10, and Farzeen Kamal Khan from Grade 12. Their participation highlighted Bangladesh’s growing footprint in international academic and innovation platforms.
In the final round, Simak Ahmed, a Grade 9 Bangla Medium student, won 1st place in the Presentation Segment. Meanwhile, K.M. Faisal Shahriar, a Grade 10 English Version student, secured 2nd place in the Health Care Innovation Segment, bringing significant honor to both the nation and their institution.
These remarkable accomplishments by the young representatives have become a source of inspiration for Bangladesh’s education sector, showcasing the potential of its students to excel on global stages. The BNMPC Science Club proudly conveyed its joy and pride in the students’ success, encouraging them to carry forward a legacy of curiosity, innovation, and leadership.
The club affirmed its commitment to nurturing future leaders of discovery, hoping that this achievement will inspire more students to pursue excellence in science and innovation.
