A massive fire broke out on October 6, 2025, at Ayesha Garments, a garment factory in the Jamgora area of Ashulia, Savar. Six units of the Fire Service were deployed to control the blaze, which started around 12:15 p.m. and was still not under control as of 1:00 p.m. No casualties have been reported so far, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined
