Six people were killed and two injured by lightning strikes in Cumilla, Bogra, and Jhenaidah districts in Bangladesh on Sunday. In Comilla, three people, including a Bangladesh Agriculture University student, died after a lightning strike while waiting to cross a canal. Two farmers were killed in Jhenaidah during fieldwork amid bad weather, and a housewife died in Bogra after being struck while cutting grass. Police reported the incidents occurred during stormy conditions.
