At least 15 passengers were injured when a bus overturned inside the Karnaphuli Tunnel in Chittagong on Saturday afternoon. The incident took place around 1:35 pm as the passenger bus traveling from Patenga to Anwara lost control while entering the tunnel from the Patenga side. Several injured passengers were immediately taken to nearby hospitals by tunnel security vehicles and ambulances, with authorities confirming that none of the injuries appeared to be critical.An eyewitness inside the tunnel, Saiful Islam, described seeing the bus sway before hitting the wall and overturning, causing panic among the passengers. Following the crash, traffic on one side of the tunnel was temporarily stopped but resumed after the bus was removed from the roadway. The Karnaphuli Tunnel authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
