The government has begun restoration work on the historic Dinajpur Rajbari, aiming to revive one of Bangladesh’s most iconic heritage sites. Once a majestic symbol of royal history, the palace had severely deteriorated — with parts of it even sinking into the ground.
Locals have welcomed the initiative, urging authorities to extend similar restoration efforts to other decaying landmarks such as Dublahati Rajbari and Hazarduari Rajbari.
