Activists from the US art collective INDECLINE staged a protest outside the United Nations in New York by playing soccer with a lifelike replica of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s head. The event on September 7 aimed to highlight the ongoing genocide in Gaza ahead of the 80th UN General Assembly session. The replica head was created by Spanish artist Eugenio Merino, and the game included Jewish and Palestinian participants. Afterward, the mock head was donated to what the group called “The Palestinian Genocide Museum.” The protest sought to draw global attention to the escalating Gaza conflict.
