The Household Production Satellite Account (HPSA) 2021 reveals that including this unpaid work would have boosted Bangladesh’s GDP by 13.57% at current prices.
This landmark report highlights how women’s contributions remain undervalued and unrecognized in the formal economy, even as they form the backbone of households and society.
