Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Shafiqul Alam, has confirmed that the upcoming national election will be held in February 2026, stressing that there is no authority capable of delaying it. Speaking to reporters after Jumma prayers, he said preparations have already begun and once the monsoon ends, the election spirit will spread across the country, turning into a grand festival of democracy.
