South Korea announced that more than 300 of its nationals detained in a US immigration raid at a Hyundai-LG battery plant in Georgia will soon be released. Seoul said negotiations with Washington have concluded, and only administrative procedures remain before the workers are flown home on a chartered flight. The arrests, part of the largest single-site raid under President Trump’s anti-migrant drive, included employees of LG Energy Solution and its contractors.
