Bangladesh Air Force C-130 cargo flight has reached Kabul, carrying 11.227 tons of humanitarian aid for the victims of the devastating September 1 earthquake in eastern Afghanistan.
The relief included tents, blankets, food, medicine, and winter supplies, handed over to Afghan authorities before the aircraft returned to Dhaka.
Over 1,400 lives were lost, 3,000+ people injured, and 8,000 homes destroyed in the disaster. Bangladesh’s support was coordinated by multiple government bodies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Armed Forces Division, Disaster Management and Relief, BGMEA, and PRAN-RFL.
