The physical condition of Nurul Haque Nur, president of the Ganadhikar Parishad, has improved, and he has been transferred from the ICU to a cabin.

Brig. Gen. J. M. Asaduzzaman, Director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), confirmed the update on Monday (September 1).

On Friday night (August 29), a clash broke out in Bijoynagar, Dhaka, between activists of the National Party and the Ganadhikar Parishad. Law enforcement intervened with baton charges to disperse the crowds, during which several people, including Nurul Haque Nur and General Secretary Muhammad Rashed Khan, were injured.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Nurul was initially admitted to Islami Bank Hospital. Following medical advice, he was later transferred to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 11 PM.
