A Chittagong University student has sharply criticized the delayed response of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) following the violent clashes between CU students and locals near Gate 2.
The student remarked: “বাংলা সিনেমা পাইসো তোমরা, সবকিছু হইয়া যাওয়ার ২-৩ ঘন্টা পর আসো”, implying that the BGB arrived hours after the chaos had already unfolded.
The violent confrontation left hundreds injured, including university officials. Despite repeated calls for help, students and teachers alleged that law enforcement was slow to respond, intensifying anger on campus.
