Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Sign Landmark Mutual Defence Pact:

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered into a historic mutual defence agreement, declaring that any act of aggression against one will be considered an attack on both.

The Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement was formally signed on Wednesday at Riyadh’s Al-Yamamah Palace by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

In a joint statement released simultaneously in Islamabad and Riyadh at the conclusion of Prime Minister Shehbaz’s day-long state visit, the two sides stated that the pact “reflects the shared commitment of both nations to strengthening their security and to promoting peace and stability in the region and the world.”
