Chatra Odhikar Parishad Announces ‘Daksu for Change’ Panel for Upcoming DUCSU Election
Chatra Odhikar Parishad has announced its panel for the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election. Bin Yamin Molla has been nominated as the candidate for Vice President (VP), while Sabina Yasmin will contest for the position of General Secretary (GS). Rakibul Islam, the member secretary of the Dhaka University unit, has been nominated for Assistant General Secretary (AGS).
The announcement came on Monday (August 18) afternoon, following the submission of nomination papers. Central President Bin Yamin Molla officially declared the panel at a press conference held in front of the office of the Chief Returning Officer. The panel has been named “Daksu for Change”, with the slogan “Vote for Change.”
Other positions in the declared panel include:
Science and Technology Secretary: Md. Shakil Khan
Social Welfare Secretary: Arifur Rahman Majumdar
Sports Secretary: Mukhtar Hossain
Liberation War and Democratic Movements Secretary: Ashiq Hridoy Ahmed
Health and Environment Secretary: Rakib Hossain Gazi
Human Rights and Legal Affairs Secretary: Ishtiaq
Research and Publication Secretary: Siam Ferdous Emon
Additionally, panel members include Rahat, Rezoan, Md. Mahiuddin Ahmed, Koufik Abir, Abdullah Al Noman, Rakibul Alam Rudro, Mofachchel Haque, and Mahtab Islam.
