The wait is almost over — My Hero Academia Final Season (Season 8) premieres on October 4, 2025 in Japan, with global streaming on Crunchyroll every Saturday. Studio BONES returns with Naomi Nakayama directing, as the anime adapts the Final War and Epilogue arcs, bringing Deku, Shigaraki, All Might, and All For One to their ultimate showdown.

Based on the manga that ended on August 5, 2024, this season will include new emotional scenes from creator Kohei Horikoshi, making it a must-watch even for manga readers. The opening theme, “THE REVO” by PornoGraffitti, nods back to the anime’s roots.

The official trailer — briefly leaked but widely shared — teased the explosive climax, emotional farewells, and the darkest battles yet. Fans can expect more reveals at the Hero X Villain Fest on August 17, 2025.
