The Home Affairs Adviser, (Retd.) Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, has affirmed that the national election will be held on the date announced by the Chief Adviser. He stressed that once the people are determined to move towards the polls, there is no scope to delay the election.
He made the remarks on Saturday (16 August) while speaking to journalists after inspecting the Krishi Market area in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
