According to the new rates, the price of jet fuel for domestic flights in Bangladesh has been increased from BDT 98.02 per liter to BDT 99.66 per liter. For international flights, the rate has been raised from USD 0.6401 per liter to USD 0.6502 per liter.

Earlier in July, the domestic jet fuel price was revised from BDT 93.57 per liter to BDT 98.02 per liter.
Under the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission Act 2003, the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) sets the prices of duty-free jet fuel for international flights and fuel with applicable taxes for domestic flights. Following BPC’s proposal submitted on January 20, Padma Oil Company Limited (POCL) submitted its recommendation for revising marketing charges for Jet A-1 fuel on February 18, which has now been approved by the commission.
This latest hike reflects adjustments to operational costs for both domestic and international airlines amid changing market conditions.
