Sumaiya Tahmid Zafrin, wife of Major Sadikul Haque (currently under military custody), has given confessional statement in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act over a secret meeting allegedly organised by activists of banned outfit Bangladesh Chhatra League in Dhaka.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farjana Haque recorded her statement under section 164 as the police produced Zafrin before the court after end of her five-day remand in the case and pleaded to record her confessional statement.
