On 28 August, RUET students held a torch procession in support of the “Complete Shutdown” campaign declared a day earlier on 27 August. The students demanded strict punishment for the policemen involved in the recent brutality in front of Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka. They also reiterated their three-point demand for justice and systemic reform.
