Brendan Taylor to Return to International Cricket After Three and a Half Years
Zimbabwe’s veteran cricketer Brendan Taylor is set to make his long-awaited return to international cricket after nearly three and a half years on the sidelines.
The 39-year-old former captain was handed a ban by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for violating the organization’s Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct.
On January 28, 2022, Taylor accepted a charge of breaching the ICC’s doping regulations after testing positive for cocaine during his final international appearance that year.
Following the completion of his suspension period, Taylor is now eligible to resume his international career, marking a significant comeback for one of Zimbabwe’s most experienced and accomplished cricketers.
