Historic July Proclamation to be Read at National Parliament on August 5th
On August 5, 2025, the historic July Proclamation will be read at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, marking the anniversary of the July Uprising. Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will lead the ceremony at 5 PM, attended by representatives from all political parties, families of the July martyrs, and injured freedom fighters.
In addition to this solemn occasion, a day-long cultural program will be held at Manik Mia Avenue to celebrate the significance of the day. The event aims to bring together people from all walks of life, including children, youth, elderly, and women, in recognition of the historic July Uprising.
The Government of Bangladesh invites everyone to join in this commemorative event and honor the memory of those who sacrificed for the nation's freedom.
